The talent that this artist displays is solely revolutionary. Chini is able to fuse hip-hop, neo-soul, and pop all in one leaving her audience in awe. Her unpredictable rhyme schemes, catchy hooks, and smooth sultry voice allows her to connect to/with all walks of life. With influences such as A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Wu Tang Clan, Patrice Rushen, Erykah Badu, Marvin Gaye, etc. she takes us back to a time where music had substance and made us feel like we could conquer the world.
Her mother noticed her interest for the arts at age four; Chini would put together extremely colorful ensembles, imitate actress's from musicals, and parade around the house in a theatrical manner. A few years later, Chini was put into piano and voice lessons which motivated her too song write and create musical compositions. She attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts High School where she studied Theatre which not only strengthened her stage presence but taught her the importance of the artistic world to human society.
